Child Support for Income that Exceeds Child Support Chart
- posted: Mar. 01, 2016
Pursuant to Administrative Order No. 10, to calculate child support for payors whose net income (as defined by Administrative Order No. 10) exceeds the Family Support Chart, you first take the maximum amount from the Family Support Chart and then multiply the appropriate percentage of the amount over and above the child support by 15% (for one child), 21% (for two children), 25% (for three children), 28% (for four children), 30% (for five children) and 32% (for six children.) This percentage is added to the maximum amount from the Family Support Chart. For income from bonuses, please see Administrative Order No. 11 that applies the same percentages for the net bonuses received by the payor.
